We're looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead a team for a 9 month period
Description
Data Collection Oversight:
- Manage affiliate reporting to ensure timely submission of financial data and perform thorough reviews;
Monthly Financial Tasks:
- Consolidate data including reconciliation on intercompany transactions;
- Analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to troubleshoot and resolve issues;
- Provide insightful commentaries on monthly financial management reports;
- Ensure monthly sales analysis and reporting by region and product.
Year-End Responsibilities:
- Lead year-end financial statement reporting and consolidation, adhering to IFRS;
- Collaborate with Group Auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy;
- Prepare consolidated financial statement notes and affiliate statutory account reconciliations.
Additional Duties:
- Drive improvements in the consolidation and reporting system tool;
- Support financial forecasting and budget processes;
- Maintain the Financial and Accounting Manual to reflect IFRS updates;
- Perform impairment tests for relevant intangible assets in accordance with IAS 36.
Profile
Qualified Accountant or degree in Business Economics or Similar;
10+ years of relevant experience within Finance Reporting/Consolidation;
5+ years of relevant experience in IFRS reporting;
Experience in multinacional corporate structure;
Excellent knowledge of IFRS;
Excellent communication, partnering, presentation and influencing skills to liaise with a large group of parties & senior leadership team;
Excellent (advanced) command of Excel;
Analytical skills to master complex problems and translate into solution;
knowledge of COGNOS Controller and Power BI is an advantage;
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English;
Organised, self-starter and able to prioritise multiple tasks;
Willingness to accept challenges in a rapidly changing environment;
A good team player with ability to function well independently when appropriate;
